Middle School & High School Programs
These are logistically customized to fit school schedules, but a typical format would be 20-minute in-class sessions twice a week, or a 1-hour after-school program once a week. Sessions concentrate on the development of mindfulness and empathy to support healthy understanding of difficult emotions, stress, pressures, and relationships. Lessons also include techniques that foster better focus and concentration, impulse control, and cohesiveness in the classroom.
In-class Program Logistics
Each classroom receives 16 in-class sessions, two times a week (20 minutes each)
A five minute journaling time is encouraged after each session.
There is a three-classroom minimum (1 hour)
Includes two meetings with participating school staff and one parents night
Afterschool Program Logistics
Eight 1 hour sessions, once a week, for eight weeks
Seven student minimum, 15 student maximum
Includes a 45 min mindfulness education workshop for interested school staff

Mindfulness Programs for Students
Elementary School
This 16-session mindfulness program teaches children how to pay attention, improve concentration, resolve conflicts, and develop empathy. Each class session is about 20 minutes and is typically delivered twice a week.
